We are a community-based alternative education provision on a mission to prove that every young person, regardless of their background or circumstance, deserves the chance to thrive.
The Chadderton Learning Centre is a pioneering alternative education hub based at Chadderton Football Club, designed to use the power of sport to reignite a love for learning among students in Key Stages 3 and 4 who are disengaged from mainstream education.
Chadderton Learning Centre offers a structured, sport-enriched, qualification-driven curriculum that blends academic study, wellbeing, and personal growth. At its core, Chadderton Learning Centre exists to provide purpose, progression, and possibility.
We believe that every learner, regardless of their background or circumstance, deserves access to an education that meets their needs, builds their confidence, and unlocks their potential.
Based at Chadderton Football Club, with access to classroom facilities, meeting rooms, training spaces, and catering areas. A dedicated teaching base within the club site.
The school day runs 09:00–15:00 daily. Students attend up to 2 days per week depending on referral and need.
We operate a 2 × 14 group structure — up to 28 students inside at any one time, ensuring a focused and supportive environment.
All pupils remain on the roll of their referring school, which retains responsibility for attendance and academic progress while Chadderton Learning Centre delivers targeted intervention.
To be a transformative learning hub where education, sport, and personal development come together to engage students, elevate their self-belief, and enhance their chances of educational success.
To harness the unique attraction of sport to inspire learning, rebuild confidence, and guide young people back onto the path for a positive educational journey — growing into confident, capable contributors to society.
Everything we do is shaped by five core values — applied every day, in every session, for every young person.
We aim high and never settle for less. We push boundaries and strive for the best outcomes for every young person, every time.
We make sure every decision starts with the child. Their voice, needs, and journey shape everything we do.
Every action we take has direction and clear purpose in every step — focused on positive, purposeful futures for all young people.
We continuously reflect and improve to ensure every child receives the best possible support, standards, and provision.
We lead with honesty, integrity, and trust in every partnership and every decision we make.
Our tagline — and our promise to every learner who walks through our doors.
Our timetable has been developed to maximise learning and personal growth while meeting the individual needs of our learners. It balances structured academic sessions with wellbeing, enrichment, and sport-based activities to keep students engaged and motivated.
Designed to provide consistency without rigidity, the timetable supports progress, confidence, and readiness for successful reintegration into education, training, or employment.
Every learner will:
