The Chadderton Learning Centre is a dedicated alternative education provision designed to re-engage, inspire, and empower young people through the power of sport, learning, and personal development.

Based at Chadderton Football Club, we offer a structured, sport-enriched, qualification-driven curriculum that blends academic study, wellbeing, and personal growth — helping every learner build confidence, rediscover their potential, and transition into positive post-16 pathways.

A high-quality, personalised curriculum focused on Functional Skills English and Maths, delivered by qualified teachers. Every learner works towards recognised qualifications supporting their future.

Sport is the hook that makes learning relevant and motivating. Vocational studies in Sport and E-Sports, physical activity sessions, and outdoor education are woven throughout the school day.

We deliver a tiered model of intervention and support, ensuring every learner receives the right level of guidance at the right time.

Tier 1

In-School Mentoring

Available from September 2026

1:1 and small-group mentoring delivered on-site at the student's existing school, focusing on behaviour, engagement, and motivation — without disrupting their daily routine.

  • Early intervention to prevent disengagement
Tier 2

Off-Site Mentoring

Available from September 2026

A half-day off-site intervention combining personal development, physical wellbeing, and foundation skills in English or Maths — helping pupils rebuild confidence away from school.

  • Progress reporting & reintegration planning
Tier 3

Full Chadderton Learning Centre Access

Available from February Half Term 2026

Two full days per week at Chadderton Learning Centre — a blended curriculum combining academic study, vocational learning, physical activity, and wellbeing sessions.
